What is your favourite possession?

Have you got a favourite possession? By that I mean something you own that you just LOVE, not necessarily something that is worth a lot of money or that has any use or value, but something you just love having.

This is mine… a mannequin, on her knees… that’s ON HER KNEES…it’s golden! http://alyssadejour.blogspot.com/2005/07/my-newest-addition-of-furniture.html

Look, if you are just going to give me shit, please don’t partake in this thread (I am sick to death of the hate). I am actually interested in the cool, useless, wonderful stuff people have (and we all have weird and wonderful things)…

…So what’s yours?

Let's see...

My nice car, my nice house, my nice television, my high paying job, my super hot girlfriend, my super hot mexican maid, and... my dog?

Yeah, probably the dog.

My Tare Panda, that I used to use as a door stop, and it's covered in hair and gunk. Pretty filthy really...

but I'm really only 'attached' to things of a practical value.

Hmm... I don't really write much value into material possessions, but I'll go ahead and say my computer. Let's me write infrequently and surf the ol intraweb for amusement and porn.

taking her from the back as she puts her hand against the wall!

ohhh i read it wrong it was possession and not possition.

my clothes and my PSP:)

If i HAD to say one.... probably my WWE Classic Superstars Series 1 Bret Hart MOC autographed by the man himself.

If I could lump it together probably the entire run of Classic Superstars that adorns my home office walls. About 10 of them autographed by the legends I've met.

A booklet I scribbled stuff into from 8 till around 16/17.. Try and take a picture of the front, you guys'll have a laugh :-)

Got pictures?

What I'm saying is that, my stuffed toy, for which I have no use, sits on my floor, looking cute, picking up dust and hair, is my most valued impractical possession.

... I'd rate my bin higher than the panda, serving a more practical purpose while still achieving a sentimental value! (the bin's been with my household for nearly 2 decades... since I immigrated to australia. :P)

My computer.

It keeps me occupied and amused like nothing else.

For a more unique answer I'd go with my stack of Wacky Packages. I'll look at them ever so often and have a chuckle, they also bring on nostalgic feelings for a friend I use to have that I collected them with.

one of my keyrings..

i have this really old solid metal bottle opener on a keyring that i got from a BBQ spot back home...

i don't even drink mucn, i'd probably say i've opened more drinks with it for other people than for myself, but i just realy love it..

i also love my really huge oldschool style old navy tin teacup...

I was wondering what the heck you were talking about by listing a mannequin of all things, but it makes a bit more sense seeing this picture. That's a pretty interesting find for a mannequin considering the pose.

I think that you did a great job dolling her up. The notes in her garter were a very nice touch (same goes for the cigarette). Definitely a bit too modern for my tastes, but I think that you turned her into a very nice addition/piece of artwork for your home. Haha it kind of makes me wonder what other imaginative/artistic things you have done to decorate and give your place an edge.

BTW, that picture is awesome. =D

Anyways, I'm at my mom's place, so I can't take a picture; but my favorite possession is an antique vanity that my dad bought for me when I was little. Then there is this:

Silver/turqoise bracelet that was the first ever jewelry I owned (bought for me by my mom):

Braided and glass beaded necklace that my sister made for me when we were kids:

Then there is the jewelry that was handed down from my great great great grandmother, but it is kept locked up since I never wear it.

That my final shot of Maker's Mark in front of me.

Mac you fool! It gone, God its to early in the day for this to happen. Calm done, it alright, I'll just get the bootle I keep in the dishwasher.

Gee thanks Waychel. Yeah, I really love her, she looks freakily real and is just cool as hell. Like seriously, have you ever seen a mannequin on her knees? She totally rocks! I can't believe my brother threw her out... like seriously?

Probably my penis.

I'd have to agree...

It feels good for a girl to have a huge argument with you, leading you to just pull down your pants and her shutting the fuck up.

then seeing her go down. :)

My dry sarcasm.

In terms of physical possessions? wow... I'm not sure... probably my sci fi/fantasy books.... lots of good memories in my collection.

I've often wandered about this, and I really can't say.

I try to think of any single physical posession that would make me feel sad to lose, but I just come up with... nothing.

I mean I like have A computer, and would be annoyed at losing it since I'd have to replace it, but I don't have any sort of attachment to this particular computer.

all my stuff is easily replaceable like that.

And I can't say like, friends, or something like that because I find it a bit too creepy to consider my friends as my possessions.

So... nothing?

Next to my penis and ability to pleasure myself, I'd probably say my DirecTiVo. If that thing had a sex port, it'd of been broken by now.

I stole a stone from Robinson Jeffers Tor tower in Carmel and given the circumstances of my trip there, it qualifies.

I have a beautiful framed poster of Henry Miller from his library in Big Sur that I adore hanging above my bed.

I have a pair of Japanese samurai swords from Japan that I received when I was 10 years old.

I'd hate to lose any of those things. I had a library of books, probably 8-10k of them, but I sold it off. I enjoy gadgets and electronics, but I'm not attached to them. I think the modded xbox I bought is probably the coolest thing I've played with in a long time.

My dog is my life, but he doesn't seem like a possession in the proper sense.

my Houston Cougars Phi Slamma Jamma mug with the list of players.

Joke:
Q. What's the best thing about a head-job once you are married?
A. The 5 minutes of silence.

My guitars. I have to have a guitar in my arms like all day. I need to play when I'm on the comp or watching tv and my mind wanders.

I only own my laptop, my clothes, my PS2 and my 1GB MUVO. So I'll say the laptop.

The rest of my things I left behind.

A green, plastic gerbera daisy my significant other gave to me with a note that said "I'll love you until this flower dies."

I'm pretty proud of my record collection, though.
