Today (October 14th) happens to be my 22nd birthday. I had a blast on my birthday last year; I went out with close friends around the city (Manhattan). We ate some good Japanese food and just acted like delinquents in that wonderful place. This year? I'll be celebrating with my immediate family. Nothing too extravagant will happen, and for some reason I don't feel like celebrating like that this year.
It is true what they say, age 21 was really something special for me. I hope it isn't all downhill from here, but life seems to be getting better and better. I've met many people in that year. I've become more approachable as a result. I closed myself off from the world before it; outside of the handful of friends that I considered family, I really did not attempt to mingle. I was wasting my college years, really. Good thing I realized the error of my ways before I graduated.
Now, onto GAF. Thanks for being the #1 source of all my procrastination. As soon as I get up in the morning, the first two sites I check are facebook and NeoGAF -- not afraid to admit it. I came for the Gaming and stayed for the Off-Topic section. There's just so many things to see, so many threads to post in, so many things to learn and so many fun people to interact with.
I'd name a few usernames of Gaffer pals to shout out, but I'm sure I'll forget somebody so you know who you are. I'm sure that I've upset many people during my stay at GAF, and the only thing I apologize for being me, it's the only thing I know how to do.
P) I'm sure, outside some of your hard shells/troll shells/whateverwhatever you are all good people. I can't call myself a good person by any means, but I am kinder than the average bear.

Thank you, GAF. I've only been here for 3 years, but I've enjoyed the ride thus far. It's had its ups and downs, but the brain dead circus that is NeoGAF is always precious in my eyes. Commence the birthday comics.
