Ok. Sooo. I'm looking for a good computer. I want something small, quiet, efficient and my last 'priority' is low on power/electricity. Price doesn't matter much, but I would obviously prefer something cheap. Now, the notebooks easily fit that description, except I want a seperate keyboard, mouse and screen.

I've been looking into that iMac G5 thing, but I get the feeling that I'm not getting a very good bang for your buck. Also, at the moment, I would prefer something other than a mac, since I use Linux, but I'm not too anal retentive about this, so a mac is ok.

The computer doesn't need to be fast (at least 1ghzish), no good graphics chip/card needed, but I do want at least 256MB of ram. I'd like it if it's extremely efficient.

The things that have caught my eye thus far:
-iMac G5
-Mac Mini
-Mini-ITX

What did I miss?

Mini-ITX can be very quiet and has low wattages, but is not very powerfull so I suggest you stay away from them. Although the hi-end models are more powerfull. There are also P4 Mini-ITX systems but they are expensive.

I think the best right now is the Mac mini.
