What level PS Plus sub is needed to access the previous PS Plus Collection?

I once had a PS5 a few years back and sold it, but at the time made sure I downloaded all the PS Plus Collection games (the set of games Sony put out on PS Plus included Until Dawn etc)
Presumably if I resubscribe to PS Plus they'll still be there for me to download again and play? Thinking of getting a PS5 again in the Black Friday sale.
Would the very basic PS Plus sub give me access?

They aren't available anymore. To answer the question, you used to only need the basic Essential tier, but as I said, they're no longer there.

Ones previously claimed while subscribed should become available again once resubscribed.

Yep, Essential will do the trick. I'm not sure though if it's worth to resub for them. They're all very old games now that are probably dirt cheap to buy.

As long as you've claimed them when they were available and you have Essentials you should see them in your library.
If you're talking about the free ones you get each month that you can add to your account then you only need the most basic level of plus. Essential
He's talking about these ones:

The PS Plus Collection isn't available anymore, but it was a selection of games for PS5 (who had PS+) users at launch. Ended in 2023.
