Don't like any recent movie so none but there's plenty of older movies I would really like to play a current graphic AAA gen video game version of like Escape from L.A, Leviathan, Career Opportunties, Dark City, The Fifth Element, Trancers, The Bronx Warrior etc etc.

Not really into recent movies. I remember when the lord of the rings games came out, I played them just to get to the movie scenes, since the game released before the movie.

wants to fuck an Asian grill.
Dr. Strange travelling across multiverse with cutie patootie America Chavez sidekick would be fun. Instead of skill trees you would have spell trees. I want actual good boss fights too. No open world shit, just give me themed stages with a banging soundtrack and a ranking system for replayability.

I’d play all the MCU game versions if they released decent versions. I always enjoyed them back in the day. AA games that were generally good enough.

Last movie I watched was the fantastic Dune part 2 and the excellent Alien Romulus.

Is there a modern take on the old Westwood Dune II as I'd play the shit out of that?

A new Alien game would be a good thing as well .

This got me thinking that I couldn't even tell you any recent movies that have come out or are in the pipeline.Probably been like that since covid as it felt like the quality of movies post that took a nosedive.

The Gorge could've been an interesting action survival horror (minus the romance bits), with the first chapters about defending the towers and the later ones descending to the gorge to learn its secrets.

"would of" in the thread title... I feel like that should be a bannable offence.

And it's even worse than the typical would of, which is a result of people mishearing would've, because the words would and of are separated by a whole nother word here.

I can't think of anything from todays era of movies, most of the ones i have seen are garbage Dune been the exception.

But i agree with the Escape from New York / L.A could be an awesome game in the right hands.

"Perfect Days". I'd so RNG the literal shit out of Tokyos public toilets to earn the ultimate toilet cleaner trophy and customize my gear and toilet cleaner car.

Half of this movie makes for an interesting video game concept. It would be an Alien: Isolation-style video game where you are a recently betrothed who has to survive and escape this giant mazelike cavern where a dragon is skulking around. You're doing this while avoiding pitfalls, traps, and other small creatures and oddities that can harm you.

However, there would be an online feature in the game where other players will leave helpful messages (like a souls game) and you each help map out the cavern together in order to escape in your own game (Yes, this soulslike feature was in the movie). Or they can make this feature offline as a roguelike where you can do your best to remember and map out the place before your current character dies, taking what you've learned to the next one.

In order for this to work successfully, there will be 100 different variations of the map, which means you can't easily rely on an online guide and instead have to rely on messages and mapping. Other than the main mode where you have to escape, there can be other modes (like escorting a civilian out) to help provide a bit of variety. The game would be a graphical and raytracing showcase, along with a potential clothing-tech and hair-tech showcase as the dragon could burn the player at any moment.

Someone has to save the English language, and it seems like neither the Brits nor the Americans are able to! And the Aussies are busy not getting killed by every animal and plant they come across, so they are excused.
