What's a decent videocard with DVI-out?

I want to hookup my computer to my HDTV using DVI out to play my pc games and do whatever. I need a new videocard to do so, so I was wondering if you guys can recommmend me a decent card (radeon or geforce) that isn't too expensive that supports DVI. I don't play pc games too much so I don't care if it's not the most powerful on the market. TV-in would be a plus but not required.

Do you have a price range? Does your motherboard support AGP or PCI-E? (I'm assuming AGP).

The GeForce 6600 GT AGP is a good mid-range card with DVI-out (but no TV-in).

For TV-in, I would suggest just buying a separate TV-tuner/Capture card such as the Leadtek Winfast TV2000 XP

If you really want the TV-in function built in on the card, then you could go for the ATI Radeon 9800 All in Wonder Pro. The Radeon 9800 Pro has lower performance than the GeForce 6600 GT though.

Do you want a VGA/DVI card or Dual-DVI card?

If you want just a single dvi out and vivo functionalities, go for the Radeon 9800 All-In-Wonder.

If you want dual dvi, go for 6600GT.

If you want Dual DVI AND VIVO you need an X850 series card (among which X850PRO is the {relatively} cheapest)

Don't get any nVidia 5000 series (e.g. 5200) -- skip straight to the 6000 series or choose a Radeon 9600/9800/X-series if you want good quality DVI output.
