They're all relatively the same IMO. The communties just differ. Go through Livejournal, Xanga and basically all of them and see what you think of the community I guess.

I can't say I know enough about different blogging sites to be able to give an informed enough opinion of the best, but I use blogger and I really like it. In saying that however, there have been a few occasions where there have been issues with the site and I haven't been able to post temporarily (although it is not often enough for me to really be concerned). But I am impressed enough to say that if I was to start over, I would go with blogger again.
