I was just thinking of this today while taking a shower in the morning. We've got that damn ugly grout in between shower tiles and I know I have to scrub the shit out of there, but there's just SO MUCH TILE that I think I'd go crazy scrubbing it all. I want something I can just spray on the fucking shower tiles and have that black shit melt away for me....*sigh*

You used Ajax and it didnt work? Maybe try cleaning your bathtub more than 2x a year? :lol

OK, seriously: Try doing the scrubbing bubbles first, scrub it down, THEN do the Ajax to get the rest off.

Tilex or Comet

Make sure to have the air circulating when you use Tilex. That shit is strong as fuck. :lol

First you should run your shower hot for a few minutes; the steam will help loosen up the dirt. Then use some scrubbing powder, let that sit for a few minutes, then pour some bleach and scrub it off.

And is this kind of shit--Comet, Limeaway etc--stuff I can use on tile floors as well?

yea its good for tile, ceramic linoleum. It's got bleach in it though so just put a little on a sponge and test it in a corner if you're worried that the material won't hold its color. If its bathroom tile though, all bets are off and it should be fine on anything.

Anything like comet, a scouring stone or a brillo pad will RUIN your tub enamel.

These rough cleaners scratch the porcaline and make tiny grooves in it, which are even harder to clean and get dirty a whole lot easier.

My advice is to scrub harder with something that breaks soap scum and ditch those scratch type cleaners before you ruin your bathroom.

I almost forgot, scrubbing your grout will take the waterproofing off of it, then guess what happens.......

Find a good chlorox based cleaner to use.
