Personally, I'm not a big fan of the national salsas. They really don't taste that great and put too much tomato in it. Tastes more like a spicy ketchup than a real salsa. If you have a local but well liked Mexican restaurant in your area, see if they sell salsa in a jar. It'll usually taste a hell of a lot better than what you can get from the national chains.
