Xbox series x - 12TF, 24gb ram, 1tb ssd and a 4tb hd, elite controller inclided - $699

I went to play a game in my pc the other night, first steam wanted to update then the rockstar loader crashed, I just gave up, reminded me why consoles are my primary gaming choice.

Well this thread is derailed. Nice going guys.
It literally didn't even pass 5 posts

PS5 500$ 11TF 500gb SDD 125 reRam
PS5 Pro 1000$ 20TF Steals your Girlfriend

XSX 500$ 12TF 1TB SDD

Im buying PS5 no matter what. All I care about Xbox's existence is for Sony to over spec.

PS is 10TF or slightly less, Lockhart and PS5 about the same spec, but Sony charges more.....Is this a stealth 12TF vs 9TF Jugaloo?

PS5 will be 2tf, runs uncharted only for the next 10 years. Possible expansion bay upgrade for GT for the few people that think that's a good game, only it will be on 8k 600fps, so tripe, but smooth tripe.

SX will be 200tf at $9999.95, will play anything you throw at it including Beetles vinyl. Only trouble is you need a vinyl ad on dongle which will be barely stocked and hard to find.

These are facts. Cry harder.

What type of GPU do you have?

Yes, we all know the type of gpu that makes the rockstar launcher crash. Why don't you just reply instantly with "your pc will play Xbox games buy a playstation"? Cut out the middle man, so to speak, we know that's what's coming. Xbox has no games, no exclusives, you can play them on pc. Go on. TELL HIM.

PS5 - I'll Buy it
Xbox Series X / S - That's what my PC is for.

Yup. I don't care about specs. They won't even matter. I've paid rumors zero attention. My only prediction is that next gen will go about like the current gen in terms of PS to Xbox sales. I think it may lean even harder toward the PS side this time around because people have a clearer picture of where each side stands game-wise going in.

PS5 - 10TF, with 24gb ram, 1tb ssd - 499 euro
Xbox series x - 11.5TF, 24gb ram, 1tb ssd - 599 euro
Xbox series s - 8.2TF, 16gb ram, 500gb ssd - 399 euro

Totally legit with insider knowledge.

nah. The main reason for current was that Xbox was $100 more expensive AND weaker. This time it will be the other way around

You really believe that..? The price differential was only a small part of the reason IMO. The main reason was MS alienating gamers in general. Focus on TV TV TV and no money + effort towards development of (well made) exclusives. Also, the pathatric push for kinect and digital-only thinking in a world which wasn't ready for it (nowadays it would be far more acceptable).
I'm really rooting for MS this time around. Competition is always a good thing.

They will have video games. You heard it here first.

What I've been saying for over a year and seems to be coming to fruition....

Both double digits, team 12tf
Psv with better SSD and RT
Nextbox maybe a little stronger, maybe not but not by much

Both at or around $500.00 with one of them trying to undercut and sell for $450.00.

Not true this cant be said enough. Ps3 at hundreds more, inferior multiplats and online going out for months still outsold Xbox 360 month after month in world wide sales upon its release almost every single month till the end.

Xbox being on par or even stronger will do nothing at same price or lower. Most ppl just prefer Sony systems for different reasons. It may not end up 3 to 1 ratio like now but it'll definitely be at least 2 to 1.

PS5 9-10 TF
Series X 11ish TF
"Series S" - doesn't exist

Both price 450. SSD same.

[hot take edit] Raytracing in both turns out to be a big pile of nothing.

Sony has a 3-0 record against Microsoft, so why would I not bet on them again?

Edit: XSX will be more powerful and possibly cheaper, but I don't think it will matter all too much.

After that you put a new game into your console and had to wait for a 30 GB day one update.

my prediction is it will be weaker than my PC.

i don't care what the specs + price of consoles are. i'll buy whatever one has games i can't play on my PC.

PS5: 3.2Ghz 8c/16t Ryzen CPU, 11.8TF GPU, 18GB GDDR6, 4GBDDR4, 1TB SSD 6GB/s. $499

XSX: 3.6Ghz 8c/6t Ryzen CPU, 12.4TF GPU, 16GB GDDR6, 1TB SSD 2.5GB/s. $549

XSX 11-12TF, 1Gb SSD, $500-600
PS5 9-10TF, 1Gb SSD, $449-500

XSS probably an All Digital console that performs similar or better than a One X, but has an SSD and barebones RT support.

prediction: there will be shortages for both consoles. Coronavirus is no longer a possible threat to production lines, its a reality.

Clearly you're a cheapskate youngin' that never owned an AES or 3DO. 😁

I never owned those systems but I remember when there were a ton of random consoles on the market in 1994 for a range of insane prices.

None of them were successful, leading to today where they would be crazy to even consider a system at 699.

PS3 at 599 was too much.

Edit: To be clear, I personally really don't care what it's priced and have no interest in an Xbox anyway. I'm just saying I think this prediction is impossible.
