I just watched it and I fucking loved it. Just don't expect two hours of nonstop action and you should be fine. Expect great visuals, and some great music, and everything else that happens will be a pleasant surprise. Casshern for life!!!

It's a shame you didn't get into Casshern earlier. I sold my R2 ultimate edition for $42 shipped around Thanksgiving time.

It's a good movie, but I realized that I wasn't into watching it multiple times since it is depressing. I also saw it back to back with House of Flying Daggers, which I liked much more and bought for much less.

Did you not look at the links? Amazon Jp and CD Japan has it for like $45. Though... depending on shipping option, it may or may not be higher than the $55 hkflix price.

You and me both. I was dying to get out of the theatre..if not for my partner. It seems that many events were not properly explained...and the action sequences were really disappointing. That said, the intro looks very much like an FF game

The "Region 0" are bootleg, but the "Region 2" Cassherns on ebay are legit. That's where I got mine from a US seller.
