Now another question, I finally installed a 200GB drive I had lying around, but I connected it to an old IDE drive card because my motherboard primary is being used by SATA (the drive is IDE), and the secondary motherboard is being used by optical drives.
The card is fairly old, so it's only detecting 128GB... assuming I can't find a BIOS upgrade for the card, will this be a problem in the future if I just let Windows recognize it as 128GB? i.e. if I eventually connect it to my motherboard/a newer card and it finds 200GB, will the data be wiped?
