I remember there was a poster saying that the new ZoneAlarm was crap and the old one was great, and I really would like to get the right version. Which is the good one again?

Must be referring to me. ZA 5.0 crapped up BT as well as many other programs pretty badly. I have no clue if 5.1.1 is any good though, I haven't been tempted to try it. I'm still using ZA 4.5.

I can't remember, it was a while back. Just a site I went to said "this is your IP!!" and it scared me enough to finally get a firewall going.

Ah I see, just get the latest version and if you have any problems after the install with anything, you should consider downgrading to 4.5.

I had huge problems with 5+ as well, now using 4.5.

Hehe, that will still happen even when you install a firewall. Your IP needs to be known, otherwise no traffic is possible.
