You've just inherited tens of billions of dollars, and you've decided that you're going to put that money to use by assembling a team of real-life super heroes: People with charisma, intelligence, passion, and the desire to make the world a better place.
Money is no object, and since the team members will be given carte blanche to use any amount of money as they see fit, anyone you ask is going to accept.
Who do you put on your team?
My picks:
Bill Nye. Amazing science educator who has proven his desire to combat ignorance by making various media appearances where he is severely outnumbered, just so he can reach a wider audience. Seems like he truly wants to make the world a better place.
Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Occasionally partnering with Bill Nye, Tyson has proven himself in a similar fashion to Bill, and his stint as the host of Cosmos has padded his resume even further. He is somewhat less charming than Nye, but also more outspoken, so the two complement each other well.
Jon Stewart. Anyone who has watched Jon Stewart make someone squirm in an interview has realized that this man is incredibly intelligent and knows what he's talking about. He is very good at what he does, and is an excellent spokesperson for.... pretty much anything.
Stephen Colbert. Similar reasons for Jon Stewart. The two make an excellent pair, and Stephen in particular is great at lampooning absurdity through satire.
Elon Musk. The innovator on the team, Elon Musk has singlehandedly pioneered numerous scientific advances in his short stint as an entrepreneur, making electric cars viable with the Tesla and revolutionizing rocket technology through SpaceX.
So GAF, who would you put on your team? Are there any obvious inclusions that I missed? Or do you disagree with anyone on my list?
