Most likely posted years ago, but just in case it hasn't been, do yourselves a favor and check this out:

Insane Tetris player

Just click on the download link and prepare to be blown away. I couldn't even believe it when I saw it the other day-- it's like he's in the zone; his hands aren't even moving quickly, but his mind is obviously going a mile a minute, running through the various permutations and placements of the shapes. Crazy. :O

*anxiously awaits the inevitable "welcome to last <insert time span here>" comments. :p

...and that, kids, was the first time I sucked a dick for crack
Yeah, I don't mean to be a dick, but I saw that video probably 3 years ago the first time.

:(

Well, I don't get around to multimedia sites a lot, seeing as how I'm on dialup; when I was at my bud's place the other day (he has DSL), we were looking at all these blooper clips and stumbled across this. Sorry to have wasted your time, Mr. Katayev. ;) :p

DJ: Hah. I figured the OT was a better place for a video of this sort, even though it's of a guy playing a game. Go figure. I'm sure if I'm mistaken, it will be moved to the appropriate forum. :p

EDIT: Boomer, it should work. You have to click the text that says "click here to start your download"; save it to your HD or something-- it's downloading fine for me. If you mean the playback isn't working right, well, I dunno-- it was fine last night. :)

Last time this was posted wasn't it said he was playinng a different version of tetris than normal?

But would that really matter? I mean, you can clearly see how much time he has from when he first sees the "next piece" up top to when it hits the bottom of the screen, and it's much less than 1.5 seconds; to be able to think that quickly is incredible. It did seem like he had slightly more "slide time" than in the console versions of Tetris that I've played, meaning the time after the descending piece has hit the surface of your pile during which you can still slide it left or right quickly before it sets. Regardless, it's an amazing feat. :)

And Boomer, you suck. :D
