I recently bought Simpsons 6th season, and I must say, this is the biggest piece of crap I've ever seen for a DVD box set. It's like someone said "Hey, why don't we use the most annoying, cheapest plastic for the 6th season!". I know you can order the original box (thank god!), but they require you to print out and send in a form with your proof of purchase, along with a S&H fee. I guess they never thought about just letting you order it online ala Lord of the Ring box.

i've seen season 6 in stores with the mail away box.

and i havent seen season 7 with the 2nd head box, so maybe that's the mail away now?

I agree. That season 6 head is a bad joke. It looks sort of cool from a distance (as long as its not on your shelf with the rest of your collection), but then when you touch it... And the mail away box pissed me off more since its just this cardboard sleve you slide the head's insert into. Nice. Leave the top open. Oh no, I'm not trying to keep dust off my DVDs.

When season 7 came there was no mail-in since you just pick when you buy it if you want the box version or the head version.
