Everyone having exclusives is just great. But having specific moments in time in which third parties offer exclusive games to you that could change at any given point in the future versus financially capturing companies and probably reducing the value of what they are or what they produce..


And that's not just a jab toward Microsoft in general I'm just not a big consolidation fan I can think of many companies that were absorbed into bigger units and basically died.

Microsoft is buying multiplatform studios strictly to content starved Playstation, something Xbox fans accuse Sony of. No one content starved Xbox buyers more than Microsoft, how many projects showed up only get cancelled before any real gameplay showing?

Now because by Phil's own admission the only way to grow Xbox is to buy studios To drive playstation owners to their ecosystem to play games that were expected on their PS5.

Fundamentally what gamers care about is more games. When a company pay for an exclusive to be produced, like with Bayoneta 2, gamers GAIN games. When a company buy a studio so it can't make games for other consoles anymore, the gamers LOSE games.

Quite simply most of us are not investers and don't care how rich either company are, we care about GAMES. And we get mad when a company acts to take games away. That is all there is to it.

And Xbox gamers KNOW this. The BROgamer KNOW this. They made threads like these anyway, and it is done because of their personal Character and Morals (or the lack thereof) that i would not elaborate as it would be seen as both honest and rude.
