After Andrew's little Japanese developer wankfest and the latest Japanese developer suicide on the Xbox Live thread, I felt a little pissing in J-Wheaties was in order on this here forum! >:|

Why is my agenda so important here? Well obviously it's because the games these developers are making tend to be more popular in Japan (TOO DEE FAIGHTARS), and what's popular in Japan? Not the Xbox.
Okay, sure - on-line versions of Capcom and SNK games have been released for the PS2 - in Japan.
I'm sick and tired of the obvious handholding required to lead Japanese developers on-line. They're so far behind Western developers in terms of creating on-line games that it's almost physically painful in my daddy bits.
What's the deal Japan?!

Not every Western gamer is the midlife crisis fat bastard Xbox owner the Japanese think we are. Damn it, bunkum and sonycowboy need to slap some developers around with NPD figures to prove that even that boneheaded excuse does not fly!
The sad part is, folks are expecting that when the PS3 releases Japanese developers attitude towards on-line gaming, with regards to the rest of the world that is not Japan, will change. I don't see this happening, unless Sony pulls a Microsoft and plays crossing guard for these little Polly Pissypants developers.
I'm totally open to folks with connections hinting at how things could logically be better for the outlook of on-line PS3 games from Japanese development houses. In the meantime, I'm red lining my blood pressure for no good reason. GRRRRRRRRRR! *much gnashing of teeth
