Bit of confusion here. Did they only air DBZ the series, or both the series and movies. Because w/o the movies (at least 2 of them anyway... or was it 3) them liking Broly makes no sense. At any rate, i'm sure someone will have a better answer than I, just wait.... FIVE MINUTES.

Seriously, I'm a mexican living in Mexico and I have no idea why he's that popular, maybe because he was the villain in the first DBZ movie we had in theaters. I never liked him and I watched a lot of DB when I was a kid.
