Why is it you don't hear much talk regarding Mountain Standard Time?

I mean think about it, whether it's some big events happening or the like, it's normally always either EST or PST, heck, I've seen more events happening in states with CST. Why is MST so rarely talked about or mentioned?

Because most events aren't happening in Utah or Colorado, but rather in California or New York where the major population centers are.

To answer the question truthfully, lol, I would imagine it’s because Central is in the middle of everything. It sounds dumb, but what better starting point, right?

The two coasts are hotbeds for all kinds of companies, the biggest cities in the U.S., etc., so I’m not surprised to see those used as a reference when so many are in them.

The Mountain Time area just... kind of exists.

Btw, this might be the strangest complaint I’ve ever read on Gaf.

Flyover states. I live in Mountain and even I can accept that. EST and PST are the only time zones everyone else can figure it out.
