In an interview with RPGFan, Media.Vision's prez spills beans...maybe:

Q: In which direction will you take Wild ARMs as a series in the future? Are you looking into developing an online game based on the unique universe of Wild ARMs?

A: We are currently looking into that.

He also mentions the PSP:

Q: Could you tell us about the possibility of releasing a Wild ARMs game for PlayStation Portable?
A: I think PlayStation Portable is hardware with exceptional promise. We are looking into the possibilities of a style that uses its features as a handheld device for a Wild ARMs game.

I would totally dig a Wild Arms style MMORPG but I dunno....maybe if it devolved into more of just an action-RPG, they could go for a Four Swords type game.

what the? Am I the only one who finds Wild Arms to be too irrevelant for all its sequels and now this? Yeah they're passable games, but good gosh they're treating it like it's the new Final Fantasy or DQ. It makes no sense to me.
