Hate on MTV all you want, in fact...95% of the time I'll join you, but they really hit the nail with Wild'N Out. Or rather, I should say: Nick Cannon hit the nail with the show. I think this has got to be the funniest comedy show on TV at the moment, the cast is hilarious and I especially love the freestyle battle raps. This is a much welcomed show, to MTV's otherwise piss poor schedule (excluding Real World). With shit like the Andy Milonakis Show, Super Sweet 16, and Laguna Beach...MTV desperately needed a show that wouldn't attract: A) A bunch of retards and B) 12 year old girls.

Hopefully, I'm not the only fan of the show here. *prepares flame suit*

BTW: How the hell did Nick Cannon get so much money to fund his own show and gain recognition? He didn't star in anything worth mentioning to be perfectly honest...
 
I rubberneck this show sometimes. Not to be condescending or contradictory, but it's so unclever and not funny that I can't help but keep watching. The guest hosts are actually embarassing. Seeing the Ying-Yang twins try to be funny honestly made me cringe.

The short dude with the perm is funny, though.
 
He had an album that went platinum, been in PLENTY of movies, tv shows, etc.... Plus he's a pretty smart young man from what I grasp. I'm sure he manages his money well.
 
yeah there is one or two comics that are funny on there (Nic cannon not being one of them, Dave Chappelle's son was dead wrong, that fool ain't hilarious). The dude with the perm is good. The short black dude with the shorter arms did a pretty good DMX impression. That indian chick needs to go though, she hasn't done one funny thing in the 3 episodes that i watched. Most of it just seems forced and not clever or witty at all.

I've watched quite a few episodes (some full, some partly) hoping it'd get better, but to be honest it hasn't. It's especially stupid when you notice:

-The other team really isn't trying to win at all.
-The host DJ pics "random" topics for them to act out which are never suggested by the audience.
-He (the DJ) seems to always score a point for NC's team even if the joke sucked.
-The show just really isn't very good.

...so what's the point?

:lol! That joke still sticks with us to this day. Anytime he pops up on tv someone always says "Nick Cannon?" in a disgusted tone and someone else goes "He's hilaaarious..."
 
This show is horrible. Its so scripted and even with scripting the lines are delivered poorly. Also, whats with all the white kids in the battle raps having to make some mention all the time that they're white? No shit, we can see you're white, congratulations, you suck at fake battle rap. I don't understand the appeal of Nick Cannon. He's not even remotely funny. He was on Kimmel the other week claiming that he does standup which is news to me. I'd love to see that shit - maybe its funny.

:lol Man, I thought I was the only one who did that. I do that whenever a commercial for that movie of his comes on. Nobody around me gets the reference though.

That show sucks as well, but at least he's going for stupid moron funny and not actual comedian funny, so that makes it a tad better. Plus it doesn't hurt that a grown man looks like a 15 year old... :lol
 
Haha. I dunno' I still think it's a funny show, scripted or not. I personally don't think it's scripted, because they stutter and hesitate a lot of times. But the ONE thing that's obviously bullshit is that the black team usually gets the louder reaction to rating a performance from the audience...yet...the meter is fixed so that it always shows the red team getting a louder reaction.

This last episode, the black team OBVIOUSLY had a much louder reaction...yet, the red team won. :BS flag:

Yeah, that's what I was talking about in my first post. If they aren't in a fair competition, then why bother with the competition setup in the first place?

PS. They probably stutter and hesitate 'cause they suck at acting, making it seem all the more real! :lol
 
You like WildnOut? Are you kidding me? It has to be the worst show I have seen in years. It is NOT funny, and so NOT CLEVER it makes my brain hurt watching it.

None of that crap is remotely FUNNY. The audience looks like they are fake laughing the entire time. It is HORRIBLE.

Seriously, this show will be canceled within months. It is that bad.
 
I love the part where they diss people coming down the runway.
