I finally accepted that this would never arrive, and now this!

If this is coming to UK (where I'm assuming the ad originates) then I ask: Is Puzzle Collection coming to the US? I'll pay full price.

I'm happy with Pokemon Puzzle League and Dr. Mario. I really couldn't care less about Yoshi's cookie. They could do something better than just those 3 games.

Damn...its Europe. I had my hope up for a US release.

Its really strange that NOA never brought this over. It seems like it would be easy money.

I really wish Nintendo would've just released this in the US. I mean, wtf... why not? Guh... I'll never understand Nintendo.

This year would be a good year to release a bunch of stuff that never made it to American shores like the Naruto games, Giftpia, NPC, and others. Why not?

No, you really cannot do better than Panel de Pon and Dr Mario. They're about as good as it gets. Unfortunately, the Puzzle Collection ports of them are a complete disgrace outside of the semi-cool PDP 4-player mode. The once fantastic music in both games has been 'remixed' in the worst of ways, and so have the sprites. They actually manage to look and sound significantly worse than the original games did. Also, it's not a fault of the collection itself, but the stock Gamecube d-pad is basically worthless in Panel de Pon, especially if you're used to the SNES pad. It's a real shame.

At a budget price, including a GC-GBA link cable, it was just barely worth buying the Japanese version. Full price without a cable is a pretty big ripoff, though.

Well, I think the import was worth it. Between that, FF:CC, and Four Swords, I only had to buy one GCN-GBA link cable to have four.

Yeah EAD Ninja said it was near imminent a while ago, I wonder what threw it off course, I still maintain that a US port would see PDP transgendered into PPL again.

Why the hell doesn't Nintendo release this game. It requires like a budget of 30$ to "localize" all the japanese text to english. The damn GC disc cost like 4 pesos..

WTF NIN !!!

When I found out it was going to be at E3, in English, I was sure we were getting it. I believe Nintendo even got an ESRB for it.

I didn't know I possesed the power to summon you :lol

Miss your posts and wish you were around more.

It'll probably wind up being a budget/filler title for summer this year, or perhaps a filler title for the Gamecube's final year in 06.

A DS port would hit the spot nicely, but is probably too much work for them at this point, especially when it came down to getting the multiplayer to work.

Don't even joke about that.

:(

That has been on the GAME site for over a year. Until the Q1 2005 changes to an actual date I wouldn't worry what GAME say.

And with Namco Hometek warming to quircky budget imports, it'd be the perfect time to finally release Mr Driller: Drill Land. :)
