Win2k Customize Question

Is there anyway to change the shortcuts on the left hand side in Win2k?

I didn't think you could, but while looking at that image, you can. The "e" folder is usually something else...


And clean up that desktop :S

I saw them messing around with those icons on an episode of The Screen Savers a while back. I believe there was a registry edit you could do to change which locations those shortcuts went to. Unfortunately I don't remember when the show aired, and I can't seem to find that particular bit of info on TechTV's site, but it is possible.

Well you can do it in XP...Download and install Tweak UI XP, run it, go to Common Dialogs > Places Bar, and change the shortcuts to your hearts desire.

I don't have 2000, but maybe Tweak UI 1.33 allows you to change the Places Bar like TUI XP.
