Windows 8.1 preview to 8.1

I have the 8.1 preview installed and I want to move on to the official 8.1 release, but for the life of me I can't access the windows 8 store. No matter what method I try (local account, reset store, etc) it just won't let me connect to update to the official release. Wat do?

I've tried searching online but none of the methods I've tried have helped.

The error I get is "we weren't able to connect to the store. This might have happened because of a server problem or the network connection timed out. Please wait a few minutes and try again."

The annoying thing is, if I create a local account, I can access the store fine, until in switch it to a Microsoft account, which I need to do to download anything from the store. As soon as I turn it into a ms account, I get the same error.

f you're on the preview, you have to update from here, I don't think it'll show up in the store at all, even if you could get into it. The update's going to uninstall all your programs though, I learned that the hard way. Your other personal files should be fine, but make sure you have anything you wouldn't be okay with losing backed up first.

Son of a dick

Thanks for the info
