A feat in its own right, not even competitive eater Eric “Badlands'’ Booker could finish the challenge within the allotted time. The 420-pound Booker - who has eaten such things as 49 glazed doughnuts in eight minutes and two pounds of chocolate bars in six minutes - tried three times to eat the burger and finally did on his third effort. But it took Booker 7 1/2 hours

:lol :lol that guy gets owned by all the skinny people. First Kobayashi, now this!

I've eaten hamburgers 2 nights in a row and i think i've eaten around six pounds of meat. My colon hurts now. But eating that all in one sitting would have killed me.

Well, she is from Jersey...that alone should tell you how much has been in her.

Just for clarification: I live in NJ, born in Brooklyn. Thank you.

i lived in jersey for 22 years, the amount of meat college girls ingest around princeton is the stuff legends are made of :lol

Skinny people can eat more than fat people, fat people just to tend to eat more on a daily basis. The stomach stretches more easily for skinny people because fat won't get in the way.

Stelnick spent the two days prior to the feast by fasting.
Unless she's used to fasting then stuffing herself, she probably really felt like shit an hour after she finished, if not sooner.

On a semi-related note, i just realized that i haven't had beef in over eight years. If at a hamburger now, i'd probably have to vomit it back up. i can't imagine eating that much meat in one meal.

Skinny people are actually more able to consume vast quantities than fat people, so this comes as no suprise.

Obviously, but it's still funny.

The chick's not even one of these professional eater freaks that does it for a living like Kobayashi.

I saw an eating tourny on tv a couple of weeks ago. They had to eat like a 30 ft sub. It was crazy. Of course the skinny Japanese guy won.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, it was probably more like 50+ ft

This reminds me of why Fox should do another Glutton Bowl. :p Kobayashi won that too by downing 50 hot dogs to advance to the finals, and then there he downed 53 cow brains.

The Cocoichi curry chain in Japan had this challenge, at every branch, where if you ate this massive 1,300 gram plate of curry within 20 minutes it would be free (otherwise it's like 2000 yen or so).

Not on the scale of that burger, but hey. I never tried... even when I was really hungry the most I ever ate at that place was 400 grams of rice and katsu. Mmmm... katsu.

They used to have this at their locations in Hawaii, but they stopped the promotion at the end of last year.

I asked someone working there why it ended, and they said there were too many poor sports - people who would refuse to pay after they lost, or worse, who would puke it back up.

It was amusing to look at the pictures of people who managed to win - lots of them had comments like "dumbest move ever" on them :)
