Finally got the fist weapon that goes with T5. Never gonna change my look now. :p

Wow, amazing transmog. What tabard is that?

Ironforge tabard. I'm mostly using it to hide my chest that isn't T5 yet. :p Figured an orange tabard would be good enough until then. Plus... i'm a dwarf lol.

Speaking of which, when are they fixing the way tabards look when wearing a robe? It's annoying. I can wear mostly only robes so I never use any tabard.

I just never wear tabards because they look awful to me.

Cloaks depends on the character I'm playing. An Orc in a cloak looks weird.

So few race/gender combos look good in cloaks. Orc females look great, Orc males look silly. Either Pandaren is dumb, female Dwarves look like they're going to trip over themselves.

Shattered Sun is best tabard.

But I never wear it. I imagine when WoD comes out the chest and leg pieces won't be worth hiding anymore

Cloaks are always hidden for me and there are very few helms I'd show, Illidan's leather one, the plate one from council in black temple and a couple of cloth ones from tier 6. All from tier 6 now that I think about it, that tier was amazing for good looking armor pieces.

Eh, I'd say it also depends on what gear/weapon you're using too.

I just transmogged the Malevolent Gladiator's Desecration set on my DK, and ended up having to turn the cloak off because of the massive clipping with my equipped weapon that occurred was really annoying.

But yeah...cloaks aren't for everyone.

I usually just wear the Tabard of Frost. I think it's a TCG tabard, it's blue with like a skull on it. Looks dope. I remember buying it for like 20k gold towards the end of vanilla.

Male UD look better with out cloaks.

Female Belfs look better with them.

EDIT: the worst decision Blizzard has ever made with WoW is letting Moonkin ride mounts.

The more I level alts, the more I realize ZD is the worst Northrend zone. The stupid ghoul quests, the stupid riding the giant quest that takes too long, the abomination quests, the escort quests...

But once you get to the actual Troll stuff, it's pretty breezy. It's actually kind of impressive how quick it turns from shit to passable once you bump into the Zandalari.

So how hard are those challenge dungeon things anyway? I kinda want the Warlock armor, even thought it's actually pretty ugly.

Since so many Monk moves have obvious Street Fighter and some MK influence, I need level 100 monk ability to be Power Dunk

so it's like a warrior charge/heroic leap sort of without the movement part. So you would target a mob then hit it and jump i nthe air and come down and drop an AOE on the floor hitting it for a bunch and everything with it taking some kind of damage.

No charge or stun or anything. Might be a good closer too for PVP.

I highly doubt there's a ton of people returning when there's nothing new in the game and there won't be for several more months.

I just started playing again last week. A friend of mine from my old guild came back a month ago.

The reason me, my friend and others from my server are coming back is realm connections. My server was literally last on wowprogress. We've since been connected with Frostmane and Ner'zhul and it's no longer a dead server.

8/14 done tonight. Had a few crazy kills where things started to hit the fan, but we still one shot everything (well, Shamans was kind of a two-shot since they despawned on us at 55% the first pull).

DPS seemed pretty good so I'm curious as to what the Garrosh roadblock with this guild has been. Should be able to down him this week though and definitely next if they extend the lockout like it seems they've been doing, alternating between clear and extend.

Hopefully Thok drops a trinket and/or helm. My LFR pieces there look so pathetic compared to the rest of my gear now (not wasting Valor to upgrade the LFR Tail Tip either.) Did get the sword from Sha of Pride tonight as an upgrade from my Flex version, so at least that's another slot covered. Not warforged though :(

Finally got some Flex done tonight (kinda skipped it last week) and got the Heirloom Bow for my Hunter.

So I got my mains set on their Heirloom Weapons from Garrosh now. :D

I might go engi on my monk. A) I really want one of those rockets and doubt my luck with blingtron B) Goggles are a good dps increase

but it's like ... rocket boots wouldn't be that useful to a monk. I'm already fast as hell.
Looks like the PvP season is ending in 2-3 weeks. Patch imminent (little patch though it may be).

Should be upgrading the Timeless weapons though. So that's cool.

I went Engi on my Druid, which is a class with 2 different sprints and a Blink. I never use the rocket boots, but Jeeves alone is worth the price of admission.

That zone is probably my least favorite zone in all of WoW--with Silithus being pretty high up there. The base level of Zul'drak is so bad it sucks the enjoyment of the game right out of me, and I just end up skipping it 100% of the time.

I don't mind it too much except for the undead quests which I skip. That said I rarely go there and instead do Dragonblight and dungeons until I can go to Sholazar.

80 on the monk. 10 more levels to go, but the worst parts (60-80) are done.

lol I just spent 5 minutes debating 'legacy of the white tiger or the emperor?' only to find out I can have both. That's unique, isn't it? don't know of any other classes with 2 buffs not counting mage armor.

I actually levelled a rogue recently (just hit 70) where I spent the majority of the time not realising I could have two poisons active. Finding out was like a DUH moment.

Friend farmed up 2 Elixir's of Ancient knowledge and jumped from 60-85 in past 24 hours, did 60-70 on the first one and 75-85 on the second. Good way to get those who hate leveling to stick with the game. Stonecore is such amazing experience.

Tried solotanking Garrosh last night.

That... actually feels very doable. We've not beaten the fight, but the spikes aren't as unpleasant as I thought they'd be as long as I'm disciplined with self-healing, and single-tanking means we can afford to take a third healer which makes the AOE healing situations a lot less terrifying.

A lot of classes bring 2 buffs, most of them in fact except for healers.

Any tips on how to play a shadow priest?

I just started playing again and leveling up my 85 priest. I've got no idea what I'm suppose to be doing, its been so long.

I've been opening on mobs with VT --> SW:p -- MB --> MF and then use whatever spells proc after that. It seems to work just fine, but I still can't help but feel lost doing anything else with the class. I guess I'll learn as I play more :p

Wow has really great animations.

Not even just like spell attacks and such, but mounts, pets, hunter pets, everything just looks so nice and polished.

Yeah... That's a big reason every other MMO I've tried (and I try practically every one that comes out) ends up having no lasting appeal. With how polished wow is, and how much content/variety it has, it's impossible for me to enjoy another game for longer than the first free month.

Finally finished my Emperor Shaohao rep grind. That got really dull towards the end just killing those elite mobs for countless hours (and having to deal with competition for spawns and roaming packs of censers) but the mount looks pretty great.

Basically done now with Timeless Isle and all in all it was surprisingly fun. I spent way more time there than I originally thought I would when it came out.

While levelling, what you cast is determined by how long it tends to take you to kill a mob. If they tend to die in under ten seconds, mind blast + mind spike is your bread and butter. Longer than that, dot 'em up. MB is a better opener, as it generates a shadow orb.

Once you're more comfortable with the class, start having fun with dots. Dot up a bunch of mobs, use psychic scream and void tendrils to keep them at distance as you focus one down.

Wait you can level with pet battles?

Could you do 1-90 that way?

I've heard of people abusing the +300% xp pots using pet battles. Get ported to Shrine, use a pot, log off. Complete the Fabled Pet battles quest, switch to alt, turn 'em all in.

At last, after playing exclusively my shaman since the beginning of vanilla, I enjoy brewmaster tanking , soon 85.

I think i'll stay main pve for the monk and main pvp for the sham.

I'm playing a brand new game right now.

Pet battles are a hilariously efficient way to level.

I did 88.5-90 in 3.5 hours at 248k xp per battle which only took ~1 minute.

Only about a minute? I leveled a few toons this way, but I found the battles took longer. Even with the perfect comps. Just the animations alone slow it down. I like the area behind the Inn in the Vale with all the striders. There is a Stable Master for healing, Inn for rest XP and a daily boss for bonus xp.

It was also my primary area for building the Tournament team to get all 4 Tournament pets.

I did it with a team of 3 level 18-22 chrominus in valley of the four winds just killing level 25 critters. Okay maybe it was closer to 3 minutes per fight lol but it's still insanely fast.

Really?? I'm 88 right now and I'm tired of questing. Maybe I'll give this a shot

Yeah you just gotta find a zone that has a constant amount of pets that you have a team that has a type advantage over. I'd recommend 3 flying pets in vale or something that can murder critters in V4W.

Also try and get pets ~20, nothing lower than 18 but the lower the average pet in the battle is the more XP you gain. I also think if you do 1v3 and win you get more XP.
