tanking paladins were OP as shit in ToTOther than a short period around Cataclysm, I don't think Paladins have ever *actually* been OP. What your horde from vanilla didn't know is that it was deathly dull.
What was the reason Blizzard gave for going against the original idea of having Monks not have an auto attack?
S: Well, that’s what I do with everything anyway because I prefer to not have to think <laughs> but yeah, I definitely was noticing that it felt a lot smoother. I also noticed that the Monk has regained the ability to punch things without me pushing buttons.
GS: Autoattack. Yeah. So, we tried it without autoattack, and it sucked, and so we said we’re not going to keep it just for the sake of being different. It was weird for a couple of reasons. One of the very first quests in the Pandaren starting area says, “Go up to this target dummy and attack it.” So you’d go up and click on the target dummy, and as a World of Warcraft player you expect him to hit the target, but he goes up and he does this. <pantomiming a fighting stance> And he sits there. And if you left for 15 minutes to get a beer, and came back, he’d still be doing this. And that feels really weird.
It was kind of lame, when you were fighting a target, and you’d have it down to like 10 health, and you couldn’t kill it. And now you have to blow a special attack and lots of resources just to hit for 10 damage, whereas a Warrior’s just going to autoattack the thing down once it gets that wounded. So that felt weird.
Those are the main reasons. We were kind of relieved, from a balance point of view. I don’t want to make it sound like the balance concerns were driving it in this case, but autoattack damage for melee classes is something like 30-40% of their damage, which means that we know that the worst player in the world will at least do 30-40% of the best player in the world. Once the skilled player’s doing 100%, and the worst player’s doing like 1%, it makes it really hard for us to balance the class. In addition, when there’s no auto attack, it means that that 30-40% needs to all get baked into the special attacks, which means that a Monk would hit for like 400% weapon damage, which you can see could have PvP ramifications. So, it’s just a safer place now.
TS: That makes a lot of sense.
GS: And nobody misses it. No one who’s tried it is like, “Man, the Monk was so cool without autoattack.” They’re like, “Yeah, this feels natural now.”
Sold my Kovok drop from SoO for 6.2k gold
can't beat that
Fuck Thok and his shitty drop(rate)s
GOLD!
And triple Conqueror helms!
And no Tail-Tip!
Wunderbar!
that just happened
Soooooo
that just happened
Actually they were for quite a bit of Wrath. At least Prot. The free second life that you didn't even have to think about (was a passive) was absurdly better than anything else for progression, along with the absolute faceroll of a rotation compared to other tanks.
How quickly we forget the 3.0 patch during BC...
tanking paladins were OP as shit in ToT
being able to clear the debuffs plus devo, plus self and raid smart healing plus some of the best mitigation and tanking besides monks
It's still rare I think. I mean you see the mount around these days since Ony is super easy to solo farm at 90, but the drop rate is fairly low.Onyxia's mount dropped for me last night when i was smacking her one. Is that rare? I never saw it when i raided her at 80 nor 60. Oh well, looks cool!

I've been killing her every week for months and have yet to see it drop =[
I've been killing her, Malygos, Kaelthas and Attumen on 4 different characters every weeks for the past months. Still no mounts. I already got the Blue Drake a long time ago and Malygos dropped it twice since then, still no Azure.

I'm just glad with Cursed Vision and Ashes out of the way, I can stop running BT and TK.
Right now my daily runs are Forge of Souls because I'm too cheap to buy a 22 slot bag and ZG. If I can get the ZG mounts out of the way, I'll go back to trying Pinnacle I guess
You can get a guaranteed 22 slots bag from Onyxia and OS(under Dragonblight temple), a 24 slots bag from a Kunlai Summit quest near the middle of the zone and another 24 slots bag from a ZA quest, assuming you can solo that dungeon.
Within 5 hours of getting Ashes
Got all those. Papa's Brand New Bag is the only unique one I'm missing
Apparently today is my day for mount drops
Within 5 hours of getting Ashes
There's another 24 slot bag you can farm from the northern barrens korkron mobs, too.
This I did not know. Might do that later, assuming it's not something silly like 0.05% chance drop.
soooWithin 5 hours of getting Ashes
When I still played I farmed Malygos every week on two characters and he dropped 3 Blue Drakes within a month. Bonkers. No Azure yet too.
MoP Challenge Mode rewards being removed with the release of 6.0. Interesting move. I understand the reasons for doing so, but it does seem to clash with Blizzard's recent philosophy of not removing stuff from the game.
Interesting. I've pretty much tried everything that Blizzard has every put into WoW with the one exception being the Challenge Mode. Maybe they had data that showed it just wasn't being used.

Edit: Whaaa, there's a 28 slot bag? Looks you need to have a tailor exalted with AC and then you can make one every 12 days. Guess that's what I'll be working on.
They don't have to be on the bar to be used or active. Passives won't go there, actives you should only put on there if you actually 'use' them or toggle them. IE: pet taunt, pet res, pet bloodlust, etc. If it's right clicked/glowy it'll autocast whether it's on there or not. If it's passive, it never goes there. How the hell do I put pet abilities on his action bar? Leveling my warlock but all of his abilities are considered passive so I can't set them on his action bar. Keep trying to get my Felguard to use Axe Toss but I can't make him do it.
