Wow, B&W2 is *polished*

This game is far above the norm when it comes to polish and little details.
Though I haven't played for more than a few hours sofar I feel they should have scored it higher just to make a point. And it's very fun sofar(Im still in my first city though).

Im really impressed by the look and feel of this game. I never finished B&W1(just played level 1 and 2 a million times over) but I spent alot time with it. Everything in BW2 seems to be top notch. A really, really capable 3D engine, top animation, beautifull music, lots of depth, insane amount of small details, humour... etc. I think it really is something.

In time when I have played more the abit low scores may seem justified or not! But I think it's huge shame that this game won't(probably) not sell the amount it deserves. So obvious it's a product of love. I have a feeling it will be the last BW game for pc too which is a shame.

I say you folks should pick up a copy.

Fixed!!!

BTW I own a copy and am having fun playing it as well

The game has never crashed on me except for when I exit. It's a 1.1 bug I'm sure.

But man, what a beautiful game. It's close to perfection. Everything just works perfectly. I love building huge cities and taking over towns without force. WOW.

It pushes Sim City 4 pretty hard as the ultimate sandbox game but the enemy AI and the bugs in the army movement kinda ruin the single player experience.

There are some genius ideas though...Multi-pick up rox.

mine does too EVERYTIME!

*shitbinned* :lol

Every once in a while (Read: after a long period without saving) this game decides to reboot my computer.

Polished?

NAY.

Scuff marks as far as the eye can see.

Only played a few hours and you come to the conclusion it's polished?

Come back here in a week and start the thread then. It'd be interesting to see if you start talking about how Peter Molyneux stole your $50.

I only played an hour or so. The game is alright, but I so miss some of the things that have been removed from the 1st game. I can't really give a better assessment of it until i play more though.

Land 5 (or maybe its 4 i lost track) rocks, after i won through making a metropolis where my worshippers lived in a utopia like state of bliss i took the cow out to find the tiger who had been trying to bait me into a fight for the whole level...needless to say my Cow kicked the tigers ass, finishing up with a belly flop and pummelling the tigers face while he lay beaten on the floor.

I then held a star wars like burial ceremony where i covered the tigers bloodied remains in rocks, laid a handful of trees on top then dropped a fireball on the lot and watched him burn.

MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

Earlier my Cow beat down a few platoons of enemy soliders with a tree...awesome stuff.

I actually didn't evne know that a second game was in development, let alone released. I had a reasonable amount of enjoyment from the first game, but it was painfully buggy.
