Started up WoW again since ive for the most part repaired my network connection. A lot has changed in a month. Having a lot of fun with my new warrior.

I did notice the chat bubbles tho. It just seems more personal now. You can actually have group coversations and have some fun. Its really neat.

The community was OK on my server. Well, not for grouping, but in general. When I think of poor communities, I mostly think of Xbox Live.

I was culled online again by my old guild members and RL friends still addicted, who have been trying for months to get back. Started up an Alliance Mage and hit level 9 last night.

The many patch releases I have missed are kinda nice. Text bubbles got a "neat" response from me, and I really appreciate the added interface buttons; no need for Cosmos anymore.

The whole PVP honor stuff is kinda stupid though.

I actually kinda like the PvP stuff so far. It actually gives PvP a purpose, if I don't feel like questing or grinding, I can go wack some horde.

I like the chat bubbles, I just wish I could make them semi-transparent but keep the text opaque.

Really? I've run into many helpful people over the last month playing. I'm a newb too.

Yea, I've never really had any qualms with the community. Mostly because I almost always have guild members or friends of mine grouping with me anyway, but throwing out some questions or whatnot in the public channels almost always elicits an immediate friendly response.

Juts last night it took all of 10 seconds for a high level warlock to assist in warping a buddy from across the world to us. It's rare that I ever think "what an asshole/jerk!" when dealing with the WoW community.

I got to level 7 with my new warrior. I was in town and everyone was hanging out chatting friendly crafting for each other and dueling for fun. I must have logged onto an alternate universe.

Most people turn off the bubbles because they think they're annoying. I keep them on because they remind me of PSO.

Yeah I can safely say that 90% of the WoW community is helpful. Even a fair few high levelled guys that hand out a tidy sum of silver to a low guy if asked politely.

But there are some random guys that have NO IDEA what the hell they are doing.. even had one guy I was questing with and was literally walking around in circles finding certain things. Yeah mate, let's head far south when the log quest states to head north.

Yeah some people lack focus. I had a group of players following me around on 2 of my quests. Just running around naked. I passed by a river on the way to a quest, they stopped off and danced around in the river. I kept going, finished quest, came back along that way, there were just finishing up and followed me back to town.
