Came home from work to find my brother has bought WoW. Now I'm looking to start a character but how do I create a sub-account to the main account? The login page doesn't seem to have that option and the manual says nothing about it.

Do I just have to create another full-price account, in which case won't that mess up the authentication code?

Just log into his username/password, pick a server, make a character.

Easy as that.

Edit: Next time you click the server window, it will list numbers next to the server names, this indicates how many characters you have on that server. You can have a pretty high number of characters, but I'm unsure of the number.

Pretty sure they'll never delete your characters.

They have said that they have NO plans to delete characters.
