I think 24 hours of A Christmas Story every year has become pretty unbearable, too. Now if it were Christmas Vacation/Scrooged shown back to back for 24 hours, that would be awesome.

It's sad to see some marathons I grew up with go away. Up until the past few years there were two things you could count on during the holidays: On TBS there would be 24 hours of Eastwood during Thanksgiving and then you could spend Christmas with the Duke.

There are thousands of Christmas Specials everywhere. Surely there enough that they don't have to resort to Marathons.

Although the Comedy Channel in Australia had a "Whose Line is it anyway?" marathon a few years back. Best Marathon ever.
