It's apretty cool method they're using. When you susbstract the 2 digits from your original number, it will always end up on a factor of 9. Here, let me elaborate:
10 = 1+0 = 9
11 = 1+1 = 9
12 = 1+2 = 9
13 = 1+3 = 9
Any number in the twenties will get you 18, thirties > 27, fourties > 36 etc. - And all the numbers in the table of 9 have the same symbol, tadaa![]()
