I just pre-ordered the game yesterday knowing that we, people in US won't get online play... (since online play is in JP only) but just for the system/stat update for my league among my friends...

and I just realize that WE8: LE appears to be for only for one player only. 2p is online only, as its official website says, which means I might not be able to play against my buddies, at all. (no offline vs play)

I surely hope this is just my misunderstanding. Taking out 2p exhibit games altogether is just outrageous.... in which case that I will have to get domestic version (which I believe is a minor upgrade from JP WE8 and PES4) or Korean domestic version. (probably the same as US WE8)

I have to say... aggrevating. WTF are you thinking, Konami?! God, please have mercy..

Perhaps I would trust your tid bit more you could share some screen shots of main menu and title screen for validity. (Unless you are under some sort of NDA type thingie - I heard that LE is up and running inside Konami among their testers, and I'm rather curious how you got your copy?)
