I'm happy it's coming this early. Can't wait to see what extra features it enables that M$ didn't allow.
Hoping for more movie format support and being able to just dump all your MP3/vids on your computer in the XB 360 HDD to no need for media center or burning all the songs to CD's.

And that's the point where I'm going to consider buying a 360.

I'm suprised it hasnt already happened. Xbox 360 has been on market already over one month, not to mention those stolen protos... And no ISOs either!! well...atleast not to my knowledge! MS has done excellent work. Ofcourse its going to happen one day.

This news is fake. Unlike what most people think, getting a modchip isn't a "given", it's a "privilege" (can't seem to find the correct word for it). It is certainly possible that no modchip ever will come out for Xbox360 or PS3.

Actually the hackers were quite complimentary about the 360 security citing it the best ever seen in a console and cited DVD-ROM as the only reason their continuing with it - if it had a propitory format then they wouldn't have bothered.

Which bodes well for Blu-Ray security and PS3 - but nothing gets market penetration like a hacked modchippable console (especially in Euroland). Question is does this mean it will Microsoft or Sony who am cry?

Both the Xbox and PSP required software to be signed with a completely uncrackable code. Still hastn' been cracked, but, whoops!

It'll happen. I honestly do not believe there will be any uncrackable console.

yea, every game is out there already. I guess people are collecting them for "when".

I think the only thing they will be able to do is allow backups to run...I dont think they will be able to do anything else for quite a while...if ever.
