Ok, in the next month or so my wallet is going to take a beating.

This is my tentative list for march:

Devil May Cry 3 (PS2, $50)

SMT: Digital Devil Saga (PS2, $55)

God of War (PS2, $50)

Playstation Portable ($250)

Lumines (PSP, $40)

Ridge Racer (PSP, $40)

Total: $485

This is ridiculous. Now my girlfriend wants Dynasty Warriors 5 after hearing about how they fixed the framerate and draw distance issues. I'm already holding off on Tekken 5 and Gran Turismo 4. I need to cut this down a bit still. I'm going to have to sacrifice either DMC3 or GoW. Which should I get? I'm inclined to keep DDS, just because it'll be a fairly low printing, and it may be hard to find later.

I hope they have PSP games for rent. There's a couple games I want to play but I don't want to buy them

The only one I would buy upfront (gamewise) is Digital Devil Saga, cause well, you know how Atlus stuff is. And then since you're obviously getting the PSP, one game should do you.
Hell that's exactly what I'm doing.
And you know DMC3 will be $20 GH next year.

This is still pretty much without a defined date from Atlus. I really do not expect it next month like the gaming sites are saying.

It's also $55 because it comes with some extra stuff. Not too much more at least, lol. I'll have that launch day though, can't wait.

yeah, if there's anything right in the world, GoW will go GH too.

I'm hoping DDS does get pushed back. It's not so much that DMC3 or GoW won't be around next year, but I really want to play them.

Do you do a lot of gaming on the go?

If you don't, ditch the PSP plans and just get the games for now....

Buy the PSP over the summer when things dry up.

I'm on the train for 40 minutes a day, so the PSP is a must-buy for me.

Edit: In the interest of full disclosure, I'm going to admit that I could afford to buy all the games on my list, plus GT4, Dynasty Warriors 5, and Tekken. I have a real job, and I'm getting a good chunk of change back in my tax refund. I just feel like spending so much in one shot is wrong somehow. Anyway, as to renting, I'm a bit of a collector, so i'd rather own a game if I already know i'm going to be spending 15-20 hours on it.
