The new survey is asking all kinds of interesting questions.

I'll put in a note about this for you. I was already going to mention that RT enabled causes weird shimmers on some reflective surfaces, it almost looks like TV static. If any of you guys haven't already filled out the satisfaction survey can you please add a comment, about the Nvidia Drivers.
There has been a issue with 50 series cards and wuthering waves since 2.1 that still hasn't been fixed and I would appreciate all your help.
The current issue is black flicking on terrain and objects only in DX11. Thanks
Are you using mods to improve RT, reflections etc. significantly? Try them out, they look great and now that the game is not crashing with DXGI errors, you can actually play with RT.I was already going to mention that RT enabled causes weird shimmers on some reflective surfaces, it almost looks like TV static.
This is the first gacha waifu simulator I played. I only put like 90 minutes into it so far, but I actually really enjoyed that time.
I was drawn in by the really cool looking landscapes, because I am currently craving blue skies with white clouds and green fields. I dont know, it just reminds me of the early 2000's and for me thats a feel good design. And this game looks absolutely amazing. I just stood there for a while and looking and sunrises and sunsets because watching the clouds go by looks absolutely mesmerizing.
Also, the gameplay is actually fun. Story is whatever so far. Lots of words that have no meaning to me and are just overly confusing. I dont like stuff like that, but story is not what I am here for. Also dont care for the waifu aspect. I dont know why I would ever want to "draw" any new character if I can play through the game with what the game gives me.
Dont know if there will be grinding later on and whether the game will be good enough to justify that, since I just dont see me paying for pulls ever. I hate these mechanics and any kind of gambling in general, so I dont support it. But I'd totally take a game like this and pay money up front if its good.
Also, how does the game look so good and still run 100 fps 4K fully maxed on a 600€ used PC I bought a few months ago. Puts so many other big games to shame.
I noticed they still have a bunch of light sources that aren't actually emitting any light too. It takes me out just a bit, but probably not enough to go in and make every lamp/torch/glowing object an actual light emitting source. I'd imagine that'd be ultra expensive and resource heavy to do.If you think the first part was great, just you wait for the second one
As for the visuals, the only thing they need to do now is add RT Local Shadows and RTAO to replace the really bad SSAO and upgrade all ugly and blocky ground objects like rocks and shit like that - it is the only thing which is still not up to par with everything they added in 2.4 and is still on the 1.X level![]()
Well, yeah, when it comes to light sources and shadows from each and every object, it'll be pretty much just as expensive as in MGS5 GZ / TPP back when it came out on PC. But that's when it comes to raster lighting, so if you'll add RT to the mix... well, heh, it'll be a disaster performance-wise probably even if you have high end hardware (CPU and GPU).I noticed they still have a bunch of light sources that aren't actually emitting any light too. If you're enjoying 1.0 your head is going to explode come 2.0, and as far as game looking good goes - it gets better, wait till you see Septimont
Story and writing will definitely improve, by a lot, 1.0 was a disaster on that front. So don't get too discouraged with the word salad.
Ah ok so, when you start the game it just automatically puts you in the story of 1.0? The one where you get a assortment of ...things (I think a sundial, a leaf, some fruit...) and just go places to figure out what they do?
How long is the story of 1.0 then? I am intrigued haha
Ah cool, thats good to know. So I just vibe with the flow haha. Each patch number in this game correlates with content. Think of them as chapters. 1.0 is chapter 1, 1.1 is chapter 2 and 2.0 is chapter 1 in the sequel in the series of books. We're currently at patch 2.4, which was split into 2 parts, of which we're in the 2nd half.
You're in chapter 1 of the game 1.0, which is the launch version and was rushed in development (they rewrote the whole story/characters in a few months). The entire 1.X story is kind of long, I recommend you focus only on completing the main story and companion quests until you get to 2.0. Once you get to 2.0, you can start expanding on the various content in the region and take your time levelling/gearing up.
