WWE SmackDown Tapings (Air Date - April 21):
- Big Show vs. Booker T ended in a Double DQ. Kurt Angle and JBL were at ringside for commentary and ended up attacking both Big Show & Booker to cause the DQ finish. After this took place, GM Teddy Long came out and announced that next week a Fatal Four Way would be taking place with JBL vs. Kurt Angle vs. Booker T vs. Big Show to determine the #1 Contender for the WWE Title. It was also announced that JBL & Kurt Angle vs. Booker T & Big Show would be the main event later.
- Carlito's Cabana: Carlito's special guest was Eddie Guerrero. Guerrero called out Rey Mysterio to the ring. He told Mysterio that a year ago he was WWE Champion and since then he has been obsessed about getting it back. Guerrero asked Mysterio to forgive him and said he would stop thinking about what he doesn't have, but what he does have - the WWE Tag Team Title and his family. He said he considered Mysterio part of his family. Both Guerrero and Mysterio appeared to make up when MNM appeared on the TitanTron. They demanded a WWE Tag Team Title shot. Guerrero said if they wanted a title shot, then they would have to come to the ring and challenge them like men. Melina said they were comfortable backstage and it was revealed that they were on Eddie's lowrider. They then spraypainted "MNM" on the side of the car. Guerrero and Mysterio went to the back towards the lowrider, but MNM were gone. He agreed to the title match later.
- Backstage, Matt Morgan was interviewed about making his debut on SmackDown tonight. (Morgan's new gimmick is stuttering, very similar to what Bubba Ray Dudley did in ECW)
- Backstage, The Basham Brothers were instructed by JBL to rough up John Cena.
- Matt Morgan defeated an unknown wrestler.
- Big Show & Booker T defeated JBL & Kurt Angle. Big Show chokeslammed JBL and Angle left the ring to allow the pinfall.
- Heidenreich came out to the ring and said he spent the last few days in New York looking for a friend. He then introduced his "new friend" The Brooklyn Brawler. Heidenreich read him a poem about them being friends and Brawler told him it sucked, saying they weren't friends. He said the only thing worse than the poem was the Yankees choking against the Boston Red Sox. Brawler than took off his Yankees shirt, put on a Boston shirt and announced himself now as The Boston Brawler. Heidenreich then took him out with a side slam and left the ring.
- MNM defeated Eddie Guerrero & Rey Mysterio to capture the WWE Tag Team Titles. After the match, Guerrero and Mysterio argued and Guerrero shoved him. Mysterio then shoved Eddie and left the ring.
- Backstage, MNM were shown getting into a limo celebrating with the WWE Tag Team Titles as paparazzi took pictures of them.
- WWE Champion John Cena defeated Orlando Jordan
BORING? Once again an unknown team comes in to win the Tag Titles, which are meaningless anymore anyway. Hopefully the new WWE lottery next month gets Smackdown some decent wrestlers.
