I can't believe how underrated this game is, I just bought it and playing through, the combat and character building is awesome. If you're a fan of x-men you should not miss this game. It's possibly the best x-men game ever. Kudos to raven software for it.

P.S: Is the "danger room" look like a cheap way to build xp? I'm thinking of not using it at all not to make the characters overly powerful.

IAWTP. Best comic book adaptation ever.

The danger room is a great way to learn new combo's that you otherwise wouldn't know about.

I guess it's ok to go through it once. I took Magma through the classes and she was lvl 6 in no time. I don't want to ruin the game by leveling my characters up too much.

This is the game tha was MADE for the x-men fans. I can not believe how much I love this game.

Legends 2 is going to kill me.

The danger way is a great way to get XP, you just have to find the right ones. The really good ones can give up to 2 million XP.

this game is awesome dudes. how is this not superior in every way to champions of norrath/Baldurs gate?? the saving system is implemented beautifully (suck it down CoN!), hopping in and out of single/multiplayer action is easy and the gameplay is awesome (assuming you know you are buying basically a hack-n-slash). maybe i'm biased because i grew up on x-men comic books, but even if this was an original game (and not licensed), it would still be superior to the other games on the console market in this genre today.

the game is ok, a good character building game, yet the combat becomes tiresome and extremely easy. Some of the powers, like emma's confuse, storms multiple hit are too much for any of the enemies. Only the ending was challenging in anyway.

Maybe it was the way I approached it, I maxed out one power instead distributing them, and the enemies were so generic that they never were immune to my powers, not enough to matter anyway.

They need to fix this to make a more compelling experience imo.

I think its been totally over-rated by this forum, it is quite flawed in every area.
IAWTP. I used to like X-Men and X-Men 2: Clone Wars on Sega Genesis back in the day, but I don't find this game fun at all.
