The UK does do Premium/Core. I believe Japan is the only region that doesn't.

It does - but still, the price is only £209.99 (for the Core) and you can always buy the HD later.

I know of 2 people who opted for the Core because they were so sick of waiting for the Premium to show up, especially with the communication from Microsoft being so bad as to when they'll ship some more.

The kicker being that the HDDs are about as rare as the Premium packs.

I think whole idea of two systems is a dumb one. Kudos, Microsoft.

I see the same situation in other European web shops: the Premium system is overbooked with no indication of when new shipments are coming, while the Core system is collecting dust on warehouse shelves.

In Pennsylvania, I saw a 360 for the first time ever since launch day. It was only a core pack, and it was at Wal-Mart. I shit you not, I turned around the corner to contemplate whether to buy it and when I returned not even five minutes later that crap was gone. I knew I should have been impulsive and just went for it, even though I really don't have that kind of money...

There none in Cardiff bar a few bundles costing a mint. Most accessories are also out of stock. Can't get a xharge and play kit for love nor money

Nobody here wants a core, those systems here are always in-stock, but Premiums are being sold out like a hot cakes.

Yeah I've seen the core available in quite a few places but no Premiums anywhere. I still plan on waiting another couple of months before buying another premium though so I'm not too bothered.
