The animation looka good IMO. The overall look of the players reminds me alot of the ID series. They'd be wise to copy the gameplay as well

I think it looks fine. The only thing I would do to make it better is to make the clothes a little more free flowing. They seem stiff.

you are correct sir. what a joke that a 2-year old game is still the best basketball simulation on the market. and what an even bigger shame that the team who created it isn't even working on the game anymore.

In terms of sheer fun, NBA 2K2 > * IMO.

while i agree that NBA 2k2 is the best in the NBA 2kx series, it is nowhere near as good as ID 2004. ID was not only fun, but realistic. an awesome post game, realistic foul system that TO THIS DAY has not been topped or even equaled by NBA live or nba 2kx and awesome controls. ID 2004 had everything.... except for mass interest from xbox owners, which is the reason there has been no ID since.

Overall looks decent. The close up shots look great. But some of the pan shots have animation that doesn't look as nice.

That would be a GIGANTIC improvement if true but I am not holding my breath for that one...

I will buy the fact the textures and models will be 100% like this in the X360 game but the animation???....I just don't see that yet...

The gameplay-ish 1/2 court camera angles makes me wish it come true though....

All true, but it is a good step up from current gen NBA games, IMO.....

Man your guys are picky. I guess the only way some of your guys would think this looks good is if it was a PSP game.:lol After all the nitpicking in this thread and in the PGR3 thread, some of you guys probable think what's outside your home window doesn't look real.

Anyway If that is what I will be playing come this December, me and a lot of, as you guys call them, "casual gamers" will be very happy. That was strait Hotness.
