If you're using a pal system, make sure it's set to 50Hz in the dash. It doesn't auto-adjust for some reason, so instead it does a nasty pulldown or something (actually, it might just repeat frames, i never paid too much attention to it since i was replacing my old SD set...) when it's set to 60Hz (it works fine at 50, and auto-switches to 576p50 with component cables, and i imagine does something similar with a vga cable). Fucking annoying though, since there are already games that only work at 60Hz out (and any sane gamer would probably leave it at 60Hz by default), so you'd have to be switching back and forth every time you use it to watch a dvd... Should be easily fixed though, i imagine, if they ever do actually update the dvd player.Maybe they should fix the damn DVD player, it doenst work properly on SD-tv's sadly (on my CRT monitor its no problem).
Err.... it already ouputs PAL dvds at 576p...alternatively use 480p/50 please MS. Respect your PAL owners

DarienA said:He's probably referring to the fact that you can't play music you've downloaded from the Itunes store through your X360... something about Apple not sharing the DRM info necessary for the X360 to be able to play those songs....
VictimOfGrief said:So this thread has informed me of three things:
1.) Xbox live is laggy
2.) MGS4 will become available on the Xbox 360 (sometime during a download, I don't know when) and
3.) MICRO TRANSACTIONS BISHES!
jedimike said:1. I think "buggy" would be more accurate. Sometimes I feel like a damn beta tester.
2. If it ever does come out, it will be so late that nobody cares.
3. One of the best features of 360 is downloading stuff... even if I'm paying for it.
Dave Long said:RE: 1. I think we truly are the beta testers. Given how late they had real hardware, there's just no way they could've tested this stuff thoroughly. We're finding all the bugs.
