Xbox 360 hitting its stride in March

Anyone else going to splurge in March on games to be set for the summer?
There are the heavyweights in Oblivion, Ghost Recon that are coming out, and then there are a lot of 'looking great' titles (maybe not system sellers, depends on who is buying them) that are coming out as well.

Here is the way I see things in the next 60 days for me:

Fight Night 3 Feb 21st Buy
Ghost Recon AW Mar 7th Buy
Burnout Revenge Mar 7th Buy
Blazing Angels Mar 7th Buy
Outfit Mar 14th Buy
Battlefield 2 MC Mar 15th Buy
Oblivion Mar 21st Buy
Rumble Roses XX Mar 29th Buy

Xbox Live Gold Membership Shit, this is almost manditory with all those games coming out.

If all those games hold to their dates, that is a title wave of good quality games that are coming out to help out with the current game drought now. I might have to develop some rare illness so I can schedule some time off of work to play these. I'm not even that pissed that Saints Row got delayed either...

The beauty of it for me is that I already have all those mofos paid off in full. This will be the most amount of games I have ever gotten in a short timespan like that.

Yea, I agree, there is alot of good titles coming out for the 360 in the next 2 months, GRAW looks absolutely amazing, Burnout is a must and so is fight night, so things are picking up. I wouldnt count on GRAW making that launch date, I have a feeling it wont come out until april or may, but I hope I am wrong!

They all look like rentals to me. Battlefield and Fight NIght would be the only ones I'd consider paying retail for.

I for one can't wait. This Jan-late Feb lull in releases was a bit much. Looks like I'll be picking up:
-MotoGP 06
-Fight Night 3
-Burnout Revenge
-Battlefield 2 MC
-Ghost Recon AW
-The Outfit
-Saints Row (pretty sure it comes out in March)

I'll probably pick up Oblivion as well, but chances are I'll save it for another release lull.

*edit*
Oh snap! Left one out! (thanks Shinobi)

There were actually just three games released between December and the end of February (assuming current schedules stay the same).

Out of all those, I'm probably most intrigued by Blazing Angels, early pictures looked great. Haven't heard much since, I wonder if it's actually coming in March.

Fight Night
Burnout
Ghost Recon
and maybe Saint's Row will be mine!

HELLZ YEAH!

Don't have my 360 yet, but intend to have one by March. Oblivion and GRAW are the two that I'll get on day one, but some of the others will fill in the void after I've played through those two. Live Gold is going to be a must have for GRAW for sure. Just wish Oblivion had multi-player, but i've been saying that about the Elder Scrolls since Daggerfall. :)

I have a PSP as well, and Feb./March is shaping up to be pretty good for it too. Looks like I'll be buying a lot of games over the next few months.

Though we don't have a date, they've hinted SF2 Turbo Hyperfighting could be released on Xbox Live Arcade in March. That's my must-have of the month.

Wow, surprised RRXX is coming out in the US before Japan. Guess I'll cancel my import pre-order and pick up the cheaper domestic one.

That's a pretty good lineup for March. Looking forward to most of those titles, especially Oblivion.

Don't forget XBLA. A lot of 360 owners have spent more time on Arcade games then they ever have with retail games.

Oblivion above all, beyond all, in my book.

But I also want Fight Night, GRAW, Blazing Angels, Outfit and Battlefield 2.

March is going to kill me :(

I'm gonna be so broke after these games drop. And on top of that, I'm trying to save up for a nice HDTV... something with 1080p hopefully. God, gaming is an expensive hobby. GRAW, Oblivion and Fight Night will be MUST haves, and Saints Row if the scores are decent (personally, me likes what me sees so far).

Fight Night 3 Feb 21st -Buy

Ghost Recon AW Mar 7th -Buy

Burnout Revenge Mar 7th -Buy

Blazing Angels Mar 7th -Rent

Outfit Mar 14th -AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA No.

Battlefield 2 MC Mar 15th -Buy

Oblivion Mar 21st MUST MUST MUST - Buy

Rumble Roses XX Mar 29th - Rent

I'd only be intersted in Oblivion, but i'll probably but it on pc. Not looking to buy a 360 until there's more games and a price drop(1-2 years from now).

Oh I'm aware of that. ;)

After DOA4 in (really) late December that was it until mid February:
2/14 Full Auto
2/20 Fight Night R3
2/21 College Hoops 2K6

...and out of those I'm only interested in Fight Night.

Personally I don't see that as a good thing, but whatever floats your boat.

No Oblivion?

Uh-oh.

In before amazing, incredible, fascinating Speevy.

Well I only work retail, and dont have a 360, so I forgot that the majority of 360 users could access Live Arcade.

Blazing Angels looks good, but I think I'm going to rent just on principle because it's a port. If the reviews come out and it turns out that the game is a TRUE next-gen game, then I might go ahead and buy it.

Holy Shit, that Blazing Angels game looks nice. I may have to add that to my must have list if the reviews are good. Gorgeous in that screen shot.

You know.. that's pretty much the only screen of that game anyone ever posts. I should really check out some other media sometime (like now-ish). Maybe it'd make it's way on "the list".

Hmmm...Blazing Angels looks sweet.

Don't forget about this game...

Currently slated for a March 15th release. That along with OutRun 2006 and Winning Eleven 9 are currently my most wanted games.

Damn I had totally forgotten about that. Time to take out a loan :(

How can it be hitting it's stride when there is still going to be system shortages at that time? I have utterly no confidence in Microsoft having adequate systems on shelves by that time.

Who's that? Will he beat me up? All I know is that game looks like booty. Sorry if that's offensive to anyone, but it's the truth.

You're not going to last here long, next you'll be dissing wrestling... :P

I'll be getting Fight Night, Oblivion (If it comes out), Moto GP'06 and maaaybe Ghost Recon. I didn't like the previous entries in the series, but this one is just too awesome.

The whole "You can't see your weapon in first-person" really bugs me.

Probably Onlivion, depending on how tedious I find it.

Jees, I'm so pleased I've still got a PS2.

Gaming saviour! :D

I might get GRAW, depending how totally shit it is.

Jees, I'm so pleased I've still got teh DS.

Gaming messiah! :D

I'm having a field day on March. Oblivion, GRAW and possibly The Outfit for me.

GRAW and Oblivion rentals? Are you crazy? Fight Night 3?

You must only buy 5 games a year with these 'standards.'

I'm pretty sure MotoGP got pushed to June.

Personally I don't see that as a good thing, but whatever floats your boat.

My boats a floating... I'm not trying to take anything away from the launch line-up. At this point in my life (house, kids, work, etc.), there's a lot of compelling reasons to get the cheap games that I can also get satisfaction from playing only 10-15 minutes at a time.

I soooooo want to play Oblivion, but I know I'll never have the time to give the game the attention and time it requires from me. :(
