Xbox 360 Zero Hour Faceplates

For those who went to the event, just a heads up that they should be arriving in your mail anytime this week. I filled out for 2 to 2 different address and got them both today.

I won't be selling mine on ebay but I'm pretty sure the 2nd one ColdBlooded will since he called dibs on it.

I think it looks pretty sweet on my 360, I'm just let down there was no green cover for the cd tray but still good either way.

seriously this is a piece of plastic that costs 30 cents to make. who are these idiots that are willing to pay 110 dollars for a small shell of plastic.

people are idiots. I won't even pay 20 for the other ones.

Worse than the idiots that pay for the E3 limited edition version on ebay.

I have one, it's very tempting to sell.

Hey iceDragon, how did they ship the faceplate to you?

I'm hoping USPS, since I'm away and that way it'll be in my held mail...

That's easily the best looking faceplate they've designed so far.

I agree. They should sell the things for 10 dollars, MAX... But they're capatalistic bastards, and as long as people keep buying them, the price won't drop.

Yeah don't worry, it was USPS so it should be sitting in your mail box whenever your home.

Hey UnbornApple, how were you able to get that gamer picture if you weren't at the event?
Just wondering.

I love the limited edition faceplates... I'm just not a game collector. Every main event E3, X05, TGS, 0 Hour, London Launch, etc., MS has given out faceplates. IMO, it's better than a badge, pin, or whatever is traditionally given out at these events.

Thanks for the info.

I think they put the gamer pictures up for anyone to download once the Zero Hour event started, then they took the downloads down once the event ended. So if he already had his 360 (I think he won one of the contests) he could just hop on XBL and grab the pictures without being at the event.

The achievement, on the other hand...:)

I got the 360 early via Pepsi contest, and I saw the Zero Hour gamer pic pack was on the marketplace at the end of the Zero Hour event.

Which one was the London Launch faceplate?

Also, I think Special Edition versions of games should come bundled with faceplates, or at the very least a faceplate you can get mailed to you.
