Okay so I call Xbox Customer Service because of my router problems with Perfect Dark Zero. I can't join games with more than 4 players when going through my *Xbox Live-compatible certified* router.
The guy on the line listens to my problem, and asks for the router I'm using. He puts me on hold for awhile. The he comes back and asks me if I'm using Xbox version 1 or 360. That was already weird, considering I had clearly stated my problem was in Perfect Dark Zero. Didn't know that game was on Xbox 1 as well. :lol
He then asks me if I've tried playing other games and if I experienced problems as well. I told him I played Halo 2 and that it worked flawlessly. He puts me on hold some more.
He comes back, with possible solutions. First he says that I should update my router to the latest firmware. I already had. That's where it gets major funny:
- Alright.. well.. then you should contact the manufacturer of the game.
- ... okay, and how do I do that?
- Oh! You don't have contact numbers?
- Errr no!
- Oh alright wait up I'll look it up.
*on hold some more*
- Sir?
- Yeah.
- You should contact Bungie, since...
- Errr no sir. Bungie made Halo 2. My problem is with Perfect Dark Zero.
- Oh.. hum.. wait I'll look it up.
*on hold some more*
- Sir?
- Yes?
- Okay. You should contact Microsoft, since they are the manufacturer of the game.
- Okay.
- You can call them at 1-800-Microsoft.
- And they can help me?
- Yeah. Is there anything else I can help you with?
So... :lol
Do I even *dare* call them? I have a strong feeling they'll be quite useless. :lol
But all funny aside. This still doesn't solve my problem.
