Why wouldn't they happy to release games on a platform:
- that It's not dead
- where people actually BUY games
- that It's not dead

They were separated. He listed CoD, Battlefield and Destiny as the popular franchises. The other two were listed as "good games" not related to their popularity. Halo Infinite however was both irrelevant and kind of shit.Talking about relevancy then posting pictures of two dead franchises.

Sure but I don't really care about the pent up xbox forum users here who are always desperately looking for a "GOTY win", then and now. If it were up to them games like Starfield would win too.
Halo Infinite was mid at best, neutral people who bought it on steam gave it middling reviews and it didn't really win any legitimate GOTYs outside those where them xbox users and bots could influence things.

I realize that Playstation vs Xbox FPS games is a thing, like Halo vs Killzone

It's better than Killzone, Battlefield and CoD (that are available on Playstation platforms), yes. Not better than Resistance 3, though. And certainly not better than Titanfall 2 (or 1).
It's not better than Battlefield 2 or 1942, though.
Well, they are remaking Halo 1, if they aren't actively working on making it shit then even 343 will manage to make a good game.

I mean, Infinite Warfare was the last decent one (but it's still worse than Halo 1). And there weren't many decent CoD games to begin with.
And Battlefield peaked with 1942 and 2. Then it got progressively worse until it reached it's "modern formula" with the earliest iteration of it being in Bad Company 2, which completely changed what Battlefield is. Modern Battlefield games have nothing of what made Battlefield great in the first place: Massive maps with lots of players, being able to drive absolutely everything (planes, tanks, jeeps, fucking submarines, fucking aircraft carriers, etc.). And no shitty meta game stuff or overly convoluted game modes and no "rankings". It was simple, crazy, massive multiplayer fun. I know what they are aiming for with the modern Battlefield games, but it's not Battlefield anymore. But at least the gunplay is marginally better than it was in the early Battlefield games (which is a very low bar to top).

Oh they already are actively working on making it shit. The game literally reuses Halo Infinite textures and designs.
They literally removed med packs.
