I get this annoying flicker in both games whenever there is a rich blue background (like the island stage in DOAU or the loading screen in Outrun 2). It looks like radio interference, but I don't know what it is.

Anyone else notice this with their copies of those games?


I've already tried different cables and having my TV located in different spots.

sure its not just your TV acting up due to sensitivity to overly bright backgrounds?

Actually turns out it was my Xbox.

I borrowed my brother's xbox, and it worked fine on my TV. Tried both systems on other TVs, and my Xbox had the same problem everywhere.

It's a thomson Xbox btw.

Hmph, this is really odd. I've noticed the same thing in some of the XBox Live screens in Halo 2. I always assumed it was some weird interference from the crappy component switchbox I'm using. My XBox has a Thomson drive as well. Is this a known problem or are we just stumbling upon it now?

All I know is I bought a new Xbox yesterday, which ended up being a phillips drive. My bro has a Samsung drive, and my original Xbox is a thomson. Only the thomson has this interference problem
