If you look around the xbox modding websites.. they break down what each number in your serial number corresponds to (manufacturing country, production run, etc).

Mine was made in 2001 in Hungary, on week 43 (whatever that means...) on assembly line 1. It's an Xbox 1.0.

My Xbox now feels old and busted. Thanks a lot.

Edit: And while I'm at it, when exactly is week 43 of the production year? I'd like to celebrate its birthday. :lol
