Party chat improvements

• The party app will help you get your microphone enabled and show you when privacy settings or networking issues are blocking communication
  with particular party members.

Game hub links update

• You can more easily discover game hub content from activity feed items. You’ll see activity feed items when any of your friends follow a game,
  and you’ll also be able to get back to a game’s hub from activity feed posts related to the game – including feed items about the game’s achievements,
  game clips and screenshots.
• We’ve added a link to game hubs from the game’s page in the achievements app.

Achievement notifications update

• You will now see the achievement’s description in the notification so you know what you did to earn this achievement without having to
  open the achievements app.
• We increased the time that an achievement notification is displayed.
• We also made some performance improvements to make loading the achievements app from a notification faster.

What’s On area

• The What’s On area is now available for Xbox One users in the U.S., Canada, and the UK.
• In it, you’ll find links to popular videos, games, movies, TV shows, game broadcasts and clips, along with Trending TV shows if you
  have configured OneGuide for your Xbox One console.

I also pre-ordered Super Mega Baseball.

I wish rather making the trash that's RBI Baseball, MLB would have teamed up with a company like this.

But familiar with either title that much. What's lame about one and better with the other?

The only thing RBI has going for it is the MLB license. It's just a sterile arcade game with poor gameplay.

SMB oozes character and charm. I just think that style and tone would have been a better way for MLB to reimagine RBI Baseball from the Super Nintendo era.

I think I may be soon saying farewell to my Day One controller.
Think I'm going to trade it in for a tuned up one, and then add an Elite later.

I like black for all my electronics, but that covert is nice.

Does the new 3.5 version have the IR lights, or are they gone?
And the Elite version too..

Did they every really do anything? I think they tracked who used the controller.

Yeah, they have them. IR is also the easiest way to pair controllers to XB1.

Last question, about the audio puck. I bought one when I got A40 to chat, and never used much. Might trade that in to.. With the new controller and system settings will all be well or should I keep it?

Do you still use the MixAmp? If so, then I don't think the headset adapter is necessary since the Xbox volume controls are just used for balance, and you have mute on the cable.

If you're not using the MixAmp, then I would keep the headset adapter or get a chat pad.

Of course I use the mixamp..even if I don't use the mixamp and new controller would take care of me. Looks like the stereo adapter is worthless now.

Well, without the MixAmp I'd prefer the physical volume controls.
