OK, so I'm giving my current XBOX to my younger sibling (she bought a new one and gave that one to me) as she really didn't want to lose some precious data. I don't mind losing most of my saves, to be honest, but I would like to take some along.

Here are the games that I'd like to transfer. If anyone has any idea whether or not a game is possible, let me know. I need to see if it is even worth bothering with...

BG&E
Breakdown
Burnout 3 (100% completion)
Gunvalkyrie (hard as hell, and I want to keep a reminder that I've completed it)
Halo and Halo 2 (pretty sure this can't be done)
JSRF
Ninja Gaiden
Oddworld Stranger's Wrath
OutRun 2 (many many challenges complete with AAA grades...very time consuming)
SC Chaos Theory

Will ANY of those work?

Pretty sure Halo goes over; I know you can put profiles on the card.

What's with the "locked" shit? BO3 is especially annoying, as it took quite some time to reach 100%. Gaiden isn't a big deal, though.

Beats me. I think its lame to. I think it was some attempt on the part of the devs to make sure no one cheated on-line.

Burnout 3 is locked because of online cheating I'd say. Ninja Gaiden and other TN games are locked because Itagaki hates us.

Bah, that sucks.

Same problem with F-Zero GX on the Cube, actually. At least those cards can be moved easily. Locking stuff on a hard drive is a terrible idea...

It's one of the reasons why the hard drive is removable on Xbox 360.

Ah f*ck, I forgot about Psychonauts and Phantom Dust. I didn't finish those two yet...

Oh well, they're good enough to play through again.

I was doing the same thing earlier in the week, transferring saves from my nearly dead 2001 Xbox to the one I bought new this week. Thankfully both Baldur's Gate I & II saves went over, I was pissed Burnout 3 doesn't, MVP Baseball saves do, and so on for another 300 or so game saves. What a pain in the ass.

On the back of the game case, it shows you whether or not it's memcard compatible. Sadly you can't do Jade Empire or Ninja Gaiden saves... non-universal memcard support = biggest flaw of the Xbox IMO.
